Virtual artists

Virtual reality (VR) isn’t just for gamers. Our resident VR artist, Miguelangelo uses it to create mindblowing performances, visuals, and artwork. Here’s the gear he recommends to get started...

“It has to be transportable, to do my shows in public. First, you need a great virtual reality headset – the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift are at the top for me right now. I incorporate the tracked controllers as tools, similar to the handling of an analog airbrush. Then you need a powerful VR-ready laptop, and a projector to show your work, to people from all walks of life, wherever they are. Grover’s been a game-changer in helping me access the tech I need to make my ideas a virtual reality – I love being able to dive into the most advanced gear on the market.”
