The AirPods will change the way you use headphones forever. When you take your AirPods out of the charging case, they turn on and connect to your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch via Bluetooth. Audio plays automatically when you put them in your ears and pauses when you take them out. To adjust the volume, change song, call someone, or ask for directions, just activate Siri with a double tap.
Controlled by the purpose-built Apple W1 chip, the AirPods can tell whether or not they're in your ear through optical sensors and an accelerometer. The W1 chip automatically redirects the audio and activates the microphone, whether you're using both or just one of them. And when you're talking on the phone or with Siri, another accelerometer with wave-bending microphones filters out background noise and makes your voice ping out. As the W1 chip is extremely energy efficient, it preserves battery power, and gives you five hours of playback. And thanks to the charging case, which has additional chargers giving a total of over 24 hours of playback, they're ready for anything. Need a quick fix? After only 15 minutes in the charging case, you can listen to three hours of music.

What do I do if my device gets damaged during the rental period?
If your device is damaged during the rental period, Grover will pay 90% of the repair costs. Report the damage to Grover Customer Service and you'll receive a return label via e-mail for free return shipping. The rent will be canceled once you have shipped the product. If you like, you can just rent a new device. We'll tell you the amount of the repair cost and deduct 10% of your account. If there is a device error, of course you pay nothing for the repair.
Do normal signs of use count as damage?
Nope. You should of course have fun with your product and use it as if it were yours. So small scratches and signs of wear are fine. Larger or deeper scratches or cracks, especially in displays, must be repaired.
What condition are the products in?
Depending on our stock, your product may be new or as good as new. We ensure that all products function properly before shipping. Grover erases all data and cleans the devices down to the smallest details.
How can I extend or end my rent?
When the minimum rental period is over, you can keep paying the same monthly price, or cancel your subscription at any time and return it to Grover for free. Don't worry, your rental contract will not be renewed for the minimum period you have chosen and the price won't change.
Can I also buy a product I'm renting?
Sure, there are two options: Three months after your rent has reached the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) shown in your customer account, you can buy your product for €1 and keep it forever. If you want to buy your product sooner than that, the price is the RRP minus 30% of your rental payments so far.
